Personality: Thunder is a recent addition to the team, joining us during the first lockdown. This gave us plenty time to train Thunder, making him as close to the perfect RDA pony as you can get!
Thunder has had lots of fun since our doors have reopened for sessions and loves meeting all his riders as they begin their riding sessions at The Brae.
Thunder is not just valued in riding sessions, he has also proved to be patient and cooperative with our volunteers and is a huge asset to our volunteer training programme which helps volunteers learn about horse handling and care.
When Thunder isn’t in sessions or helping volunteers train, he can usually be found stuffing his face with grass in the field as he is committed to keeping his tummy plump and round all year through, which he seems to be very proud of.
