which would help to support our fund raising initiative.

VOLUNTEER TRAINING DAYS- MONDAY 16^TH JUNE AND WEDNESDAY 25^TH JUNE- BOTH 6PM- 8.30PM

Covering topics – appropriate behaviour and dress, footwear around horses. Tacking- up. Mount and dismount. Leading and side helping.

Basic training to become a Brae volunteer will take place at the Centre, on the above evenings. This is for any already registered volunteers, who have not attended one of these sessions in the last 12 months. So if you are currently registered as a volunteer and need to attend one of the above sessions, please give your name to Mary Sneddon the Centre Manager ASAP.

95-mile sponsored walk.

Frank Fagan has agreed to walk the 95 miles of the West Highland Way between 26^th and 31^st May to help raise funds for ‘The Brae’.

 Are You Having A Spring Clean ?

As you will all know we have successfully raised enough funds to build the centre and this is now completed. The site is situated by the Linlathen Nursing Home on the Carnoustie/ Arbroath road just past the retail park, postcode DD5 3NN. However we are still in the process of raising further funds for Horses and Equipment. If anyone has or knows of anyone that has any tack, equipment or horses/ ponies that maybe suitable for us that they would either sell or donate, please contact us. Anything from headcollars, leadropes, grooming kits to larger items would be gratefully received.
