The Brae Kelpies did amazingly well on Sunday at The Rotary Club of Dundee Swimarathon. Completing a fantastic 60 lengths between them and raising over £500, what a great result. When we say we are a big happy family, we literally mean it. We have recently recruited two mums as volunteers. Ali is Duncans mum and Janet is Lucy's mum. Lucy started volunteering with us a couple of years ago following in her brothers footsteps as a Brae volunteer. Yesterday we found ourselves in a unique situation where 2 sets of parents and their children were working along side each other to provide Friday morning horseriding lessons. The Brae Fundraising Meal takes place on Wednesday 8th March at Dundee College. Tickets are £25 per person for a beautiful Scottish themed 4 course Meal with welcome drink and after dinner liqueur. The children & staff of Gowriehill Primary School decided they would like to sponsor a horse at The Brae. They successfully embarked on a major fundraising drive to raise the £1500 it takes to keep a horse at The Brae for 1 year. Last week we welcomed some of the children and teachers to visit their sponsored horse - Mickey. We also had them working hard in the yard helping with some of our daily tasks.
