We are sorry to bring you some sad news today but as most of you know, Prince has remained lame since his retirement from work despite veterinary treatment for some time now. We did not have anyone coming forward to rehome him and the rules of RDA say we cannot keep him at The Brae, nor could we let him go to any old home where he may not be looked after properly. We therefore felt that it was kinder to put him to sleep in his home where he was happy and comfortable. We decided that in these circumstances it would be best to carry this out quietly, without a lot of fuss, that could have unsettled him in his last days.
Prince moved on to his forever pastures today and everyone will miss him greatly.
