We have a couple of fundraising events coming up and are desperate for items for our raffles. We would welcome all of those things lurking in your cupboards that are very bad for you !! ... We have been overwhelmed by the amount of donations we have received over the Christmas period. Thank you so much to the following who have given so generously: The Maltmen Incorporation of Dundee, CACE Short Walks Group, The Graham Trust, Dundee City Council Neighbourhood Services, The Staff at Elanco, Dundee & District Victulars Golf Club, The Liveries at Rowanlea Riding School, Barnhill Tots & Toddlers Group, The Rotary Club of Claverhouse, The Occidental Pub and many many more individual people. Your kindness will help us towards our yearly target of over £165,000 we have to raise to keep providing horseriding and carriage driving lessons to children and adults with all levels of disabilities on a daily basis. THANK YOU xx ... See MoreSee Less

*Award News*
The Brae recently nominated one of our wonderful volunteers, Rebecca Bonella for Dundee Sports Awards, 'Young Volunteer of the Year'. Becky works so hard and has really impressed everyone at the centre, having only started with us in April of 2016. If she is shortlisted, Becky will be invited along to the awards ceremony on the 22nd of February to find out who the winner of her category is. Good luck Becky!
We also had nominations in for the Dundee Telegraph Community Spirit Awards. Volunteer Claire Sutherland nominated Bob Simpson for everything he does for the centre but unfortunately he didn't make it through to the next round.
Volunteer Jacob Dudgeon also nominated The Brae in the 'Community Group of the Year' category and we are so proud to have made the shortlist! We will be going to the ceremony which will take place on the 10th of February to hear if we have won. Thank you Claire and Jacob for these nominations.
We'll keep you posted on how Becky and The Brae get on at both awards evenings. Fingers crossed for some winners!
